Smoke-Free Niagara

Smoke-Free Niagara is an initiative sponsored by the Niagara Council On Smoking & Health (NCOSH) in partnership with its member organizations and agencies. It is a thriving, active coalition with a diverse membership working to create a tobacco-free Niagara.

NCOSH was established in 1976 by concerned individuals to address the effects of tobacco on health.

Mission: NCOSH is a thriving, active coalition with a diverse membership working to create a tobacco-free Niagara.

NCOSH aims to raise public awareness regarding:

  • Tobacco issues

  • Second-hand smoke

  • Advocacy for smoke-free public and workplaces

  • Quit smoking materials

  • Links to other councils and coalitions through the Ontario Tobacco-free Network (OTN)
